Rogers Idea Box lets customers share their ideas

Rogers Communications

Rogers Communications this week announced a new community program called Rogers Idea Box. Its purpose is simple: Allow people to submit new ideas on how Rogers can improve their customer service or various offerings. Other people can vote on and share their own opinions about posted ideas.

On the other side of the fence, the Rogers Community management team tracks the submitted ideas:

“Our team reads every idea and brings them to the appropriate internal team. When an idea is acted upon, its status changes to in progress. When an idea is implemented, it is marked as launched.”

For example, one of the ideas already in progress is to give customers the ability to use their MyAccount app on Wi-Fi. The Rogers Idea Box is not limited to Rogers’s cellular service but spans their entire range of service. Other suggestions include improved network upgrade notifications, a 1% discount for each year a customer has been with Rogers, medical alerts via mobile phones and more.

If nothing else, it’s one more way that Rogers is trying to improve the dialogue with its customers.
