Samsung Canada is going to be busy on October 4th. The company today announced that it will launch the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear smartwatch along with the GALAXY SIII mini and GALAXY S4 mini on that day. Then, it will catch a bit of a breather before launching the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) in November.
“We are very excited to add the GALAXY Note 3, GALAXY Gear, GALAXY SIII mini, GALAXY S4 mini and the GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) to our lineup this fall,” said Paul Brannen, Vice President Enterprise Business Division, Samsung Canada. “Samsung does not believe in a one size fits all approach – we believe in device democracy which is why we continue to grow our Samsung family of GALAXY devices, ensuring that we have a device to suit everyone’s needs.”
Given that TELUS had already announced the availability date, it should come as no surprise that the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear smartwatch will also hit Bell Mobility, Eastlink, Mobilicity, MTS, Rogers Wireless, SaskTel, Videotron and WIND Mobile on that day. The Galaxy Note 3 will be available in Jet Black and Classic White while the the GALAXY Gear will be available in Jet Black, Wild Orange and Oatmeal Beige.
Those who buy both the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear together between October 4th and October 6th will receive a CA$100 rebate.
As for the Galaxy S4 mini with a 4.3-inch display and the Galaxy S III mini with a 4.0-inch display, we’ll let you know where they land as soon as this information comes to light.
