Sony teases Xperia Z1 (Honami) with 30 second video

Sony IFA 2013 Honami teaserFollowing a series of images, Sony is stepping it up with its latest teaser ahead of its September 4th announcement. This time around, it released a 30 second video giving us glimpses of its latest flagship smartphone, the Sony Xperia Z1 (codename Honami). Promising that “the best of Sony is about to get even better,” the tweet also gives us a hint about the device’s name:

The video itself suggests a device that shares much of its looks with the current flagship Xperia Z1. But under the hood, things are looking to be significantly different with a 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and a 20.7MP rear camera with a 1 2/3-inch Exmor RS sensor and Sony G lens. Other specifications should include Google Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, LTE connectivity, a 5-inch FHD (1080×1920) Triluminos display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of onboard storage, a 3,000mAh battery and dustproof and waterproof certification.

Needless to say, we will bring you all the details on September 4th.
