ASUS Transformer Pad TF303 and TF103 revealed?

Rumoured ASUS Transformer Pad TF303It appears that ASUS is getting ready to launch some new Transformer Pad models. The last to have been added to the long-running line was the ASUS Transformer Pad TF701T which was announced back at IFA 2013 last September. Now comes word via Notebook Italia that two new models could be coming soon. They have obtained pictures of the ASUS Transformer Pad TF303 and TF103 Transformer Pad.

Details are slim but the ASUS Transformer Pad TF303 will likely be the more powerful of the two models. It could even launch as the ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity TF303 as a premium complement or replacement for the TF701T. Early signs are that it will come with Android 4.4 KitKat and an unspecified Intel Bay Trail processor as well as a 10.1-inch Full HD (1080×1920) display. It also sports both front- and rear-facing cameras, a full USB port on the dock and what appears to be a a micro-HDMI port above the volume rocker. A new hinge design will reportedly make it easier to detach the tablet from the keyboard dock with one hand. The keyboard layout has also been improved and the speakers have been moved to the front.

The images also reveals what appears to be a new more rounded finish than we’ve seen in the past.

Less is known about the Transformer Pad TF103. Based on the model number alone, we can expect it to be a cheaper but less powerful model. We’re presuming that the two devices will essentially look the same though and that differences will be mainly under the hood.

Details including availability and pricing are still not known.
