Google Nexus 9 clears FCC as HTC 0P82100

FCC certification for HTC 0P82100Back in August, the HTC 0P82100 got its Wi-Fi certification. It has now added the crucial FCC certification to its credentials ahead of its expected launch. What is the HTC HTC 0P82100, you ask? Past signs have suggested that it is none other than the oft-rumoured Google Nexus 9. While this latest certifcation does nothing to either prove or disprove this, the few details certainly line up neatly with what we’ve heard to date.

The documentation itself reveals little about the HTC 0P82100 but does confirm that it will come with GPS, dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/gn/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, NFC.

Recent rumours suggest that the Google Nexus 9 will come with a 64-bit NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor, Android L (Lemon Meringue Pie, Lion or Lollipop?), an Intel MDM9x25 model on an LTE model, 4GB of RAM, GPS, NFC, an 8MP camera with Sony IMX219 sensor and a front 1.6MP camera.

Google is expected to make an Android L announcement on or around October 16 (the same day that Apple could reveal its new iPads?). A new line of Nexus devices, including the Google Nexus 9 and the Google Nexus 6 (or Nexus X?), is expected at the same time.
