WIND Mobile launches Huawei Ascend Mate2

Huawei Ascend Mate2WIND Mobile today launched the Huawei Ascend Mate2, a phablet sporting a 6.1-inch display. The carrier previously carried the original Ascend Mate so the announcement is not a huge surprise.

First announced at CES 2014, the Huawei Ascend Mate2 comes with the rather unique Reverse Charging feature which lets you use its battery to charge other devices.

WIND Mobile is offering the Huawei Ascend Mate2 for free on their CA$60 and CA$50 plans, CA$149 with their CA$40 plan or CA$249 with their CA$35 plan (all WINDtab). It is also available for CA$399 outright.
