IWC Portofino Hand-Wound Day & Date unveiled

IWC Portofino Hand-Wound Day & DateIWC Schaffhausen this week unveiled the latest addition to its Portofino collection. The IWC Portofino Hand-Wound Day & Date uses the new IWC-manufactured 59220 calibre to offer a large date display and day and power reserve sub-dials.

The large date display located at the 12 o’clock mark consists of two synchronized discs. The first takes care of the tens and the second manages the single digits. The sub-dial showing the actual day of the week is directly connected to the date advance mechanism.
