Bell & Ross last week teased that it was bringing some new models to Baselworld 2016 but revealed little more. With the event now week less than a week away, Bell & Ross has released a second teaser and it sheds a bit more light on what the company has up its proverbial sleeve. Look for it to unveil the Aero GT concept car at the event.
Based on the video below, the Aero GT concept has more to do with the automobile world than the horological one. Could Bell & Ross be about to unveil its first car? This is unlikely but a concept car like the Aero GT would certainly be a great marketing tool to promote a new line of watches (or even some current ones).
In fact, the Aero GT concept may already have been revealed. Bell & Ross is a partner of the Festival Automobile International which took place back on January 26th. At the event, it showed off a concept car inspired by the Rafale fighter jet. Unless it is planning more than one concept car, it should be none other than the Aero GT.
While Bell & Ross is more often associated with the aviation world, let’s not forget that the company is one of the Renault Sport Formula One Team’s partners.
There is no word on who might have built the Aero GT concept for Bell & Ross.
All should be revealed next week at Baselworld 2016.
