Swiss-based HYT is known for incorporating liquids to tell the time on the displays of its iconic watches. The brand’s latest ambassador is an icon in his own right. The company revealed today that Axl Rose, founder and lead singer of the iconic band Guns ‘N’ Roses and currently fronting AC-DC, is its latest “Friend of the Brand.”
“Axl is a huge fan of watches in general but when he came across HYT he was really blown away!” explains Vincent Perriard (HYT Co-founder & Board Member). “Axl and HYT share the same unconventional attitude. I can feel this partnership is going to be very Rock’n’roll!”. Just like HYT, Axl Rose loves paradoxes and says: “HYT is creating a unique watch, a unique technology, based on liquids and mechanics!”.
HYT and Rose will work together to create a limited-edition version of the HYT Skull. It will be unveiled at SIHH 2017 early next year. In the meantime, Axl has already been spotted wearing the limited-edition HYT Skull Maori watch.
