A few days after the last Apple media event

Apple

Apple’s latest media event is now already a week past. Since then, a few new news items have surfaced.

Disney CEO Rob Iger revealed a few details about the upcoming iTV device. It will apparently come with a “small” hard drive. This would give users the choice of streaming content directly from their PC or to download it onto the iTV for replay later on. It is also apparently easy to use

How are movie sales going so far? Disney CEO Rob Iger announced that over 125,000 Disney movies have already been sold, netting Disney $1 million USD in revenue. That will grow to about $50 million USD in the first year alone.

iTunes 7, the latest major update, has received more than a few jeers from users as a host of problems have been reported (including crashes and poor audio quality) since the upgrade was released. Apple is apparently hard at work to address these issues and an update could be released fairly quickly. Like many, I’m particularly annoyed with the fact that iTunes will recreate shortcuts on my desktop and Start Menu after I have deleted them.
