According to the Economic Daily News, a Chinese newspaper, Quanta Computer Inc. is working on a smartphone for Dell. No source is cited for this news but this is not the first time that such a rumour has surfaced. Back in April, DigiTimes reported the same rumour but with more details (Codenamed Fly, the device will use Windows Mobile 6 Professional and come with HSDPA support and a QWERTY keyboard).
This report also suggests that Quanta could also be tapped to build Apple iPhones.
