Apple updates iPhone 3G launch pages as July 11th nears

Apple has updated a number of its web site pages with additional information on purchasing the iPhone 3G when it becomes available on July 11th. One page covers the basic iPhone functions and shows users how to set up an iTunes account for device synchronization.

Another page, Where to buy iPhone, now outlines what U.S. customers should bring with them to buy and activate their new iPhone 3G. The list includes items such as a credit card, social security number, and current wireless account number and password or PIN for those that aren’t current AT&T customers.
