Nokia’s CEO was not kidding when he said “soon” earlier today! As expected, Nokia and Microsoft today announced that they will host a press event on September 5th. The event will take place in New York City rather than Helsinki though. The event will focu on Nokia’s Lumia smartphones and Windows Phone but few other details were revealed.
Nokia is expected to announce at least one new Lumia smarthone powered by the new Windows Phone 8 operating system.
