Latest leaked image shows HTC M8 in protective case

Rumoured HTC M8 in protective caseIt will be another month before the HTC M8 is officially revealed to the world. Based on the number of rumours we’ve already seen, HTC will be left with little to reveal at the event. As a case in point, another new image of the device has surfaced today courtesy of the prolific and usually reliable @evleaks.

This latest image gives us another look at the front of the device. It once again confirms a styling very similar to that the of the HTC One but with subtle differences such as on-screen buttons and light sensors repositioned to the right side next to the camera. Despite the loss of the capacitive buttons, HTC looks to have kept a band below the screen to feature its logo. We also get a glimpse of the HTC Sense 6.0 interface.

The image is the first of the HTC M8 wrapped in a protective case. This may be an indication that HTC will once again offer a number of accessories for its flagship smartphone.

In a second tweet, @evleaks reconfirms what past pictures have revealed: That the HTC M8 will come with two rear camera lenses. While we have seen dual camera setups in the past to take 3D pictures, it is more likely that HTC is planning to use the second for low-light conditions.

All should be revealed on March 25 when HTC holds a press event in both London and New York City simultaneously.
