LG planning to launch more devices under G3 brand

LG G3

LG’s latest flagship smartphone, the LG G3, has been enjoying great sales in South Korea and plenty of attention in the rest of the world ahead of its global launch. There is no doubt that LG will find success with the LG G3 in 2014. LG seems to know this and now appears ready to launch more devices with the G3 brand to leverage that early success.

We first heard about the LG G3 mini back in April. Other leaks have suggested that LG could also be working on a LG G3 Prime and a LG G3 Stylus. Just days ago, LG showcased another G3 device at a trade event in China. The LG G3 Beat appears to be an LG G3 mini variant with Android 4.4.2 KitKat, a 5-inch HD (720×1280) display, 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, an 8MP rear camera, a 2,500mAh battery and dual-SIM support.

The LG G3 Prime appears to be in position to compete with Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime in South Korea and the LG G3 Stylus which sports model number LG-D693N, could go up against the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

So we now have the LG G3, the LG G3 Prime, G3 Beats, G3 mini and G3 Stylus. It certainly looks like LG is hoping to capitalize on the G3 brand! Stay tuned to see if this indeed comes to be.
