Hugo Boss unveils BOSS Watches Smart Classic smartwatch collection

BOSS Watches Smart Classic smartwatchesHugo Boss is the latest fashion house to announce a line of smartwatches. The company first teased them back at Baselworld 2016. It has now revealed new information about its upcoming BOSS Watches Smart Classic smartwatch collection.

Two smartwatches will make up the Smart Classic line at launch. In fact, both are closer to “smarter watches” than true smartwatches. While full specifications are not available yet, they appear to sport an analogue dial rather than a full digital display. Despite looking like traditional watches, both will be able to deliver notifications via haptic feedback and track basic activities such as steps taken. Data will be synced to a companion app.

The first model will feature a stainless steel case and black crocodile leather strap, the second a rose gold one and dark brown strap. Both feature clean dials with three hands and hour markers the same colour as the case.

Additional details such as watch size, battery life and other specifications were not announced today. We’ll bring you these details as soon as we have them.

The Hugo Boss Smart Classic smartwatch will sell for £299 when it goes on sale in September in the UK. They will initially be available in Hugo Boss and Ernest Jones stores. International availability details have not been announced yet.
