The Garmin fēnix Chronos will be available in titanium with a brushed titanium band, steel with a brushed stainless steel band and steel with a vintage leather band. It comes with a 1.2-inch Chroma Display with LED backlighting protected by a  scratch-resistant sapphire lens. Each will also come with an interchangeable silicone sport band.

It is also water resistant to 10 ATM (100 meters).

Like other fēnix 3 models, the Chronos offers full multisport and daily activity tracking, monitoring everything from the number of steps taken to the quality of your sleep. The Garmin Elevate heart rate monitor complements this data with heart rate and intensity minute data. The Garmin Connect mobile app provides further functionality, including addiitional watch faces, apps and widgets.

It promises up to 25 hours of battery life in UltraTrac battery saver mode and up to 13 hours in GPS mode. Smart watch mode can stretch battery life to up to one week.
