LG bringing LG G Watch to Canadian carriers and retailers

LG G WatchThe only place that Canadians can buy the new LG G Watch right now is through Google Play. LG Canada is working to make it easier for consumers to pick up the Android Wear-powered smartwatch.

Both TELUS and Videotron will begin to carry the LG G Watch in early August. Pricing will be the same as on Google Play at CA$249.99 but only the black model will initially be available. LG is also working with national retailers such as Best Buy and Future Shop and additional carriers later on.

There is no word on whether Samsung is doing the same with its Gear Live smartwatch but it would certainly not be out of the realm of possibility.
