Apple to announce Intel switch at WWDC

Back on May 23, we reported that rumours were swirling around that Apple might switch from IBM’s PowerPC processors to Intel’s. According to cnet, the rumours could become reality as early as Monday at Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference in San Francisco.

Other rumours swirling around WWDC have Apple announcing Powerbook G5 notebooks as well as a 2GB iPod Shuffle.
