FCC approval for the Acer n310 and n311

Acer n300 PDA

The FCC has approved the forthcoming Acer n310 and n311 that we mentioned a while back. The approval opens up the possibility that we could see these models in North America.

Roughly the same size as the iPAQ h4150, the Acer n300 series offers VGA resolution as well as a Samsung S3C2440 400MHz processor, 64MB of RAM and 128MB of ROM (64MB of ROM in the n310), an SDIO slot, Bluetooth 1.2 and 802.11b WiFi (the last only on the n311). They run Windows Mobile 5.0 and will include Pocket TV Enterprise Edition to play back MPEG1-encoded video content.
