Due to unforeseen extended delays in the availability of a critical 3rd party driver, the upgrade kit for the hx4700 will be available in Spring 2006. That pretty much sums it up.
HP did not disclose which driver it is that is causing the delay. And will we see other manufacturers run into similar issues?
If there is any good news here, it is that the upgrade for the hx2000 remains on target for late Summer 2005.
