Following Bill Gates’ announcement of Windows Mobile 5, HTC has announced the HTC Universal (aka T-Mobile MDA IV or Vodafone VPA). This clamshell device not only includes 3G and Windows Mobile 5 device but it also comes with a 180 degree VGA pivot-screen, a built-in keyboard, camera and a dual speaker stereophonic sound system.
HTC expects to begin distribution in the second half of 2005 and it should be available in Europe, North America and Asia. No word yet on availability in Canada or pricing.
