In June, we told you about an HP UK presentation about the iPAQ hw6500. This presentation has now been updated with details about the upcoming iPAQ hw6700 (see the product specification summary at the end of the presentation). The hw6710 (no camera) and hw6715 ( 1.3 MP camera) will feature Windows Mobile 5, an Intel PXA 270 312MHz processor, memory of 128 ROM and 64 SDRAM, GPRS/GSM/EDGE, Bluetooth, 802.11g WiFi, IRDA, a miniSD slot and a 3-inch square QVGA screen. Interestingly enough and contrary to earlier rumours, the specs also show GPS capabilities with TomTom software.
The iPAQ hw6700 series is not listed in the handheld section.
