ThinkSecret is suggesting that iTunes Mobile will be released by Apple in June. iTunes Mobile 1.0 (as it is currently known) will allow users to download songs purchased from iTunes from their computers to their phones.
The first Motorola phone was to have been released earlier this year and the two partners are still haiving trouble attracing service providers interested in carrying the iTunes-enabled phone. Why? Simply because the carriers intend to roll out their own music purchasing services and don’t want to share the spoils with Apple or Motorola.
It will be interesting to watch this story evolve.
