GVMobile has released MobileBitMap 1.0. This application is a Windows Mobile based viewer for large scale images, maps and documents. It comes with a MobileBitMap Converter tool (that runs on your desktop) that will turn images up to 65,000 by 65,000 pixels into compressed versions that you can then easily use on your Pocket PC device. It comes with 5 zoom levels and allows you to scroll around in real-time. Points of interest can also be tagged with colour markers so you can find them easily later.
MobileBitMap 1.0 is compatible with Windows Mobile 2003, 2003SE and 2005. It can be purchased for $19.95 USD from our affiliate PocketGear. A trial version is also available.
