Dale Coffing was fortunate enough to get to play with a pre-production model of the HTC Universal at Microsoft’s Mobile Embedded Developers Conference. WHile the device did not have a SIM card (so no phone or data connection), Dale had the chance to have a look at the size and weight of the unit, the screen (amazingly bright, matching the brilliance of the Dell X50v’s VGA screen), test the keyboard (the keys were plenty large for my fat thumbs to handle) and still more.
Unfortunately, no information about when it will hit the street, except for the fact that North America will see it after other spots around the world.
