Rumours are circulating that the forthcoming Office 12 could include a version designed to run on Pocket PC devices (including smartphones). Tentatively called “Office 12 for Windows Mobile”, the suite will build upon current the current version with improved viewers for Word, Excel and PowerPoint. It will also include “OneNote Mobile”, Microsoft’s note-taking application.
OneNote Mobile will not only let users take notes but it will also allow them to annotate any pictures they take with built-in cameras.
Hopefully the near future will give us a chance to confirm whether we will ever see Office Mobile 12 and if yes, when and how it would be available.
