First, Palm announced that the upcoming Treo 700w would run Windows Mobile 5.0. Today, Palm announced it’s working with Research in Motion to add the BlackBerry Connect software suite to the Treo 650 as well as future Palm OS-based Treo smartphones. This will bring push-based email, wireless calendar synchronization and remote address lookup of a corporate email directory capabilities to the Treo smartphone
The new solution is expected to be available on the Treo 650 in early 2006. Pricing will be disclosed later.
