HP has released ROM version 1.10 for the iPAQ hx2000 family. There are plenty of fixes and a few enhancements:
Fixes:
- Fixes issue with CompactFlash (CF) Modem connection and dropped connections
- Fixes issue where certain characters are not recognized when HP ProtectTools is activated
- Fixes intermittent issue where handheld will not Power On and requires a soft reset
- And a lot more
Enhancements:
- Improved Microsoft Pocket Internet Explorer
- Microsoft Windows Media Player 10
- Enhanced localization
- New data connectivity icon added to the Title bar
- And more
As always, read the installation instructions and be aware that the ROM update will replace the current ROM image and will erase partnership and all user data and programs on your iPAQ.
