Apple has released a 1GB iPod nano. While the iPod shuffle is still available, this move lends weight to the rumours that it is on its deathbed.
The 1GB iPod nano is, aside from capacity, identical to its bigger siblings, the 2GB and 4GB versions. It will sell for $149 USD ($179 CAD) while the shuffle has a new lower price: $69 USD ($89 CAD) for the 512MB version and $99 ($119 CAD) for the 1GB version.
