Altec Lansing has announced a speaker system specifically for the iPod nano. Billed as impossibly thin, the inMotion 500 speaker system is only 1.8 centimeters (.67 inches) thick and weighs about 340 grams (12 ounces). It comes with a foldable dock and a carrying case. It can be powered using either 6 AAA batteries or AC.
The iM500 use innovative broad-faced speaker cones and MaxxBass technology to deliver high quality, crystal-clear sound and bass without the need for a subwoofer. It will also let you charge and sync your iPod nano.
The iM500 will soon be available for $129.95 USD directly from Altec Lansing.
