On the heels of the Dell battery recall comes another recall, this time for 1.8 million batteries in Apple notebooks. These batteries were also manufactured by Sony and affect Apple iBook G4 and PowerBook G4 computers sold between October 2003 and now.
In a separate statement, Sony stateed that it did not expect that further battery recalls due to faulty cells would be announced.
