Apple iPhone exclusive to Cingular at launch?

Apple

Think Secret is reporting that Apple and Cingular have an agreement that will give Cingular US exclusivity to the upcoming iPhone for 6 months. Similar exclusivity arrangements are expected with other carriers in other regions of the world.

Apple is estimating that it could sell as many as 25 million iPhones in 2007 alone.

As previously reported, the iPhone is expected to be a candy-bar design with a 2.2-inch screen, a 3MP camera, a click wheel and slide-out numeric keyad. Music storage will not be limited as it was on Motorola’s iTunes phones but will be dictated by storage capacity instead.
