Apple updates MiniStore function

Apple

Earlier this week, I reported a story where Apple’s latest iTunes (version 6.02) was disclosing information to third parties without the user’s awareness and approval. The new version of iTunes 6.02 notifies you about the MiniStore: The iTunes MiniStore allows you to discover new music and videos right from your iTunes Library. As you select items in your Library, information about that item is sent to Apple and the MiniStore will send you related songs or videos. Apple does not keep any information related to the contents of your music Library. and then asks you if you want to turn on the feature.

Nicely done, Apple. Now, is marketing information still going to Omniture?
