HP’s iPAQ hw6900 series continues to find new carriers. Today, Cingular announced that it will begin offering the HP iPAQ hw6920 on October 31, 2006. The hw6920 will offer its users five wireless communication technologies: GSM/GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS, infrared and Bluetooth. You will also be able to pick up the hw6925 which will also include a 1.3MP camera.
Powered by a 416Mhz Intel PXA270 Processor 416 MHz and Windows Mobile 5 with MSFP, the hw6900 comes with quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE capabilities, 64MB RAM and 128MB ROM, 802.11b Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 1.2, Serial IR and GPS. It will also come with both a MiniSD and SDIO slots and a square 3-inch 240×240 screen.
The HP iPAQ hw6920 will be available for $359.99 USD for business customers with a two-year contract and qualifying voice and data plans.
