It’s official at last! As reported on sunday, Disney has bought Pixar for $7.4 billion USD in stock. The deal will also put Apple Computer CEO Steve Jobs on the Disney board of directors. The deal also makes Jobs the largest individual shareholder of Disney.
The deal is expected to be completed later this summer.
I suspect that we will also see a much stronger relationship between Disney and Apple as a result of this deal.
