HP on the future of mobile computing

Hewlett-Packard

HP’s thoughts on future mobile computing first came to light in an interview with an HP VP in early March. HP has published an article that sheds some more light on the direction that they see this space moving towards. In mobile computing, as in life, the future builds on the present. And today, most cellular phones come with an array of beyond-phone services. That’s right, no mention of the traditional PDA form-factor!

The article also looks at some work HP is doing, including a camera-based code reader and studies into multiplayer gaming to gain better understanding of complex, dynamic relationships like online communities and group communications.
