JBL has unveiled a very funky looking Apple iPod speaker system. The JBL Radial features four aluminum-domed drivers which use neodymium magnets and 60 watts of power. The speakers come with Computer-Optimized Equalization and Optimized Compression Topology which help deliver distortion-free sound at higher output levels. The Radial also comes with an RF remote with which you can control both the speaker and the iPod.
The iPod docks in the middle and the speakers wrap over and around it. A stereo mini jack connection will also let you plug in different devices such as laptop computers. you can also connect it to a TV to view pictures or videos stored on your iPod.
The Radial is expected to ship next month for about $299.95 USD.
