The much anticipated Motorola Q is in the final throes of release, according to Ed Zander, Motorola’s CEO and it will hopefully be released next week. Zander did not explain why there were so many delays except to say that the Q was more complex than anticipated.
It looks like Sprint and Verizon will be the first to get the phone. A Cingular UMTS version should follow by the end of the year. There might even be a HSDPA version as well. For now, I think it would be nice just to see the announcement!
