New Missing Sync version 3 to sync Windows Mobile devices with Macs

Mark/Space has released version 3.0 of The Missing Sync for Windows Mobile. The Missing Sync for Windows Mobile is the only Mac sync product that supports Windows Mobile 5 devices, including HP iPAQs, the HTC TyTN, Motorola Q, Palm Treo 700w/wx, the new T-Mobile Dash and many others. The Missing Sync also supports devices running Windows Mobile 2002 and 2003, allowing Mac users with any of these products to connect and synchronize personal information, such as contacts, calendar events, tasks and notes.

Version 3.0 adds several new features, including support for new devices and synchronization of notes and voice memos, Word and Excel documents, Safari bookmarks, iPhoto albums and iTunes playlists. In the case of iPhoto albums, The Missing Sync will automatically resize them for optimal viewing. While Windows Mobile devices can’t play protected AAC audio files, if you have a playlist with podcasts and unprotected music, you will be able to listen to it on your Windows Mobile device.

The Missing Sync for Windows Mobile version 3.0 is available for $39.95 USD directly from Mark/Space. A CD version will be available later this month. Upgrades from earlier version are also available (and if you bought version 2.5 on or after October 1, your upgrade will be free).
