NTT DoCoMo has announced that it will begin to offer the hTc Z (manufactured by HTC) starting in late July. The hTc Z will run a Japanese version of Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 for Pocket PC Phone Edition with AKU2. Based on the HTC Hermes (aka HTC TyTN), it will feature dual-mode W-CDMA and GSM/GPRS capabilities, 128MB ROM and 64MB RAM, Bluetooth 2.0, 802.11 g Wi-Fi, a microSD slot, a sliding QWERTY keyboard and a QVGA screen.

If you’re in Japan, you will be able to see the hTC Z at DoCoMo’s booth at Wireless Japan 2006 in Tokyo from July 19 to 21

Am I the only one getting tired of these new model names?
