Confirming August rumours, Palm has announced the Treo 700wx for Sprint. As expected, the 700wx will run Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC Phone Edition and be powered by a 312MHZ Intel XScale processor. It will support Sprint’s EV-DO network and sport the same 240×240 pixel touchscreen as the 700w. It will also come with 128MB of memory and 60MB of dedicated user storage, a 1.3MP digital camera, Bluetooth 1.2 and support for MultiMediaCard, SD and SDIO cards. The form factor is identical to that of the Palm Treo 700w.
Depending on service plans, discounts and promotions, the Treo 700wx will sell for $499.99 USD and up and is available now from Sprint stores, Sprint business partners and online.
