PC Mag has published a review of the Apple iPod Hi-Fi that was announced earlier this week. Overall, it fared very well with a 4.5 out of 5 score and has displaced the Bose SoundDock at the top of the pile (at least for PC Mag). The sound is quite impressive and this thing is capable of powering a serious party in just about any size room without appreciable distortion. And if you own a non-iPod MP3 player, you can still connect it up via a standard 3.5-mm audio cable.
On the downside were the following: Lack of video pass-through and small screen to browse your iPod via remote, an RF remote rather than IR to eliminate line-of-sight issues and its availability only in white.
