I’m a little late with this news. Skype released an update to its Skype for Pocket PC software. Version 2.1.0.65 came out at the beginning of October.
The enhancements include One click Skype access, enhancements to the contact list (availability, pictures and mood message), group chat (including use of animated icons), and the ability to update your profile using your device camera.
Skype for Pocket PC is a free download that will let you make calls to other Skype users using your Windows Mobile device and a high speed Wi-Fi internet connection.
