The highly anticipated Motorola Q is not out that already clones are appearing. At CTIA, TechFaithWireless (TFW) out of China has revealed one that should come with Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC Phone Edition instead of the Q’s Smartphone OS. Unfortunately, there is not much more in terms of specification information yet.
For those keeping track, the Motorola Q is now expected sometime soon (Motorola won’t commit to a date). Delays have been due at least in part to the several hardware revisions that it has undergone in response to complaints about earlier prototypes. Could the TFW come out first and would we then call the Q the clone?
