Mobile Device MVP Werner Ruotsalainen, better known as Menneisyys in many forums, was recently given an iPAQ hx4700. The first thing he did was upgrade to Windows Mobile 5.0 and problems started soon after. Fortunately for us, he did some digging and troubleshooting and has posted a series of tips to improve the performance of the iPAQ hx4700 running Windows Mobile 5.0. His tips focus on two areas: The games folder and the Synaptics NavPoint touchpad driver and the filesys.exe file. He also quickly reviewed other known hacks.
