U2 iPod is back

The Apple iPod U2 Special Edition is back with its distinctive red click wheel and black metal engraved with the band’s signatures (on the back). Based on the fifth-generation iPod, it comes with 30GB of storage (enough for up to 7,500 songs or up to 75 hours of video) and an exclusive iTunes Music Store coupon redeemable for a 30-minute video of U2 music videos and band interviews.

The original U2 iPod was released back in October 2004 and came with a 20GB hard drive but no video playback capabilities. Buyers also got a U2 digital boxset with some 400 U2 tracks, including some previously unreleased ones.

The Apple iPod U2 Special Edition is available for $329 USD ($379 CAD).
