Microsoft has added some new features to the Windows Mobile 5.0 AKU 2.3 release for Smartphones. the::unwired takes a look at these new features, including a new file explorer and an updated Start menu. The former is a new addition and the::unwired has plenty of pictures. The verdict is that it is pretty handy if pretty basic when compared to some third party solutions. The new Start menu makes it easier to navigate if you have more than nine applications or shortcuts.
Unfortunately, you will need to wait for your device’s manufacturer to implement AKU 2.3 to gain the new enhancements.
