The World eBook Fair will run from July 4 to August 4 and will give you an opportunity to download up to 1/3 million eBooks (better stock up on memory cards). The event is offered by Project Gutenberg and the World eBook Library which normally charges an annaul fee for access and unlimited downloads. The collection spans everything from classic literature to children’s books and science-fiction to technical books and the Federal Trade Commission Collection.
The event is meant to encourage you to assist in bringing many entire libraries to the general public and to encourage ever increasing levels of literacy and reading.
