The first Zune device has barely been unveiled that Microsoft is already sharing plans for future devices. According to Chris Stephenson, general manager of global marketing for Zune, “A Zune phone is definitely part of the future of this brand.” There were no specific details but with Apple working on its own phone device, was there ever any doubt that Microsoft would follow suite.
This announcement begs the question: What does this mean for Windows Mobile and Smartphones?
The same interview also revealed that Microsoft is in discussions with studios to bring movies to Zune.
